runway or reality?

Raf's wonderful shorts are absolutely sticked in my mind. That exquisite draping, the particular slim puffiness...you name it, I just want one. But, then reality kicks in and you wonder is this for the runway only or can I wear it on the street? Can you push steretypes and be an original?

So, what is it? Runway or reality?

runway, but if you want to stand out reality, i personally like when people are wearing something diferrent

I agree with blushing apples. These shorts look awesome on the runway, but if it's on the streets, I'd think it's a little too much.

But, hey, it's the confidence that pulls off an outfit, and if you're confident about what you're wearing, people would be looking at more than what you're wearing.

Am I making sense? Or, did I just mumble some crap?

It would definitely take too long to find an outfit that befits those pants.

They look like hard work to me...

hmmmm. I don't think I want to be wearing bloomers this summer. I don't think it would get a good reception at the Pines.

Maybe the first one or the third one could work...they can't be some shiny satin/silk material though

I think these shorts can work on the street, as long as they're paired with an unassuming tee shirt and NOT socks with sandals. Go for it!

well, i can't say i'd want my boyfriend to wear them... but they're kind of cute in a femmy/dandy sort of way.

not everyone could wear these. i think they would look great on a thin/medium build guy. if you wear these, you MUST post pictures

I agree with rafe, they kinda look like bloomers.i think you can still go for a different style, but too much fabric (especially the 2nd from left) looks like a skirt. i found a double pleated pair here at bluefly which is sorta traditional but switches it up a bit.

Runway. Although the third on from the left, is not bad.

i tried them on at seven...were more tech-y than i imagined them. meh.

I think its runway, but the idea is reality. Just more toned down for the streets perhaps?

But really, it completely depends how you would wear them on the street, because if you went kind of OTT with the look it culd be fantastic!

reality, def. as opposed to other shorts of the season, many of these are less tailored, which lends them to be thrown on with a t-shirt and any old cardi/sweater and look cool- not country club.
