suburbia

Another example of how New York is slowly becoming a giant suburb. JCPenney on 34 St.??? Not surprised.

If those heels can keep Star up, I guess they aren't that badly made afterall.

God, I haven't bought anything at Payless since I was a poor undergraduate student eons ago.

Actually payless has been in the city for a LONG time, year in fact- the across from Macys, the one across from L&T have been there for at least 13 years...

plus the store has linked with designers (like just about everyone else) Abaete and Lela Rose, who both do lines for the store..

But the honest truth is the shoes at payless are no worst than the shoes from brands like Steve Madden, Report, etc.. In fact they use the same manufacturer

^I was referring to Soho specifically. I was aware of other areas in NY, but this was a post about how small, original stores in Soho get replaced by gigantic corporations.
