real or unreal

Although we live in a world of constant fear from terrorism, natural disasters and what not, the luxury industry shows no signs of slowing down. Barnard Arnault, one of the kings of the luxury business and chairman of LVMH announced today that net profit for the first half of the year increased 46%.

Second category of biggest sales after timepieces was cosmetics and perfumes because of new skin care introductions such as Dior Capture total starring Sharon Stone. Now, this is slightly upsetting. Are they telling us that yes, celebrities are driving sales more than models or simply it's new, people want it? Considering all this media fuss about supermodels comeback, how celebrities are going to get replaced with models (proof: Daria at Lancome) and people's need to fantasize about looks, how true is all that?
