elegant rave pant

Bergdorf are trying to be progressive and against popular demands. While most of the city's fashiony guys favor the slim silhouette, whose main element is the skinny jean, they present us with an ultra wide cotton pant. I haven't seen such a loose pant since the late 90's. I must admit that it looks odd to me and I probably won't wear this look. Perhaps, it's just the most logic opponent to the skinny jean?

Thanks for your blog!
I've been looking for a trouser like this to wear for a while. Wed legged at the leg opening and fitted up top. The lightbulb went off when I saw the ad campaign for Gap's Boyfriend trousers in NY Times Style Magazine- so I went down to the Gap[ and tried them on- they were perfect and onl cost $50- so now I've got 2 pair of them. You'd be surprised at how good they look with dress shoes and with sandals as well. It's very reminiscent of the 40's style dress trousers. Anyway I also saw that Neiman's is selling a similar trouser from Isaac Mizrahi for $495... I'll take the Gap trousers and buy myself another pair of Prada sandals and big thick cotton socks that I picked up a couple of weeks ago.

I bought these on sale last season from Isaac. I love them. I also have them from YSL during T.F. years. I like these stylized judo pants but I know they're not for everybody.
