calvin gone american apparel

I wish Calvin Klein stays to their original concepts in advertising--clean and minimal. I suppose they are trying to target the younger crowd by making Natalia an American Apparel model/girl. Isn't the reference little bit too obvious here?

Hmm, not really. It reminds me of the 90s CK underwear ads (black and white, black background, Christy Turlington in her skivvies), but updated of course. The AA ads have a definite sleaze veneer that is missing here.

Anyway, great blog!

Yes. I remember the furore in the 90s of pre pubescent models in CK undies with their legs open. Nothing new...

Can I just say how much i love Natalia V though?

this is weird- AA ads have been compared to 90's CK ads for years. Though I agree that they arent different- CK is just too stagey, I think that was underlined when AA came along.

Stop moaning and get on with your life. Who cares if CK use the same model as AA. It's a picture!!! It's not sleeze. It's underwear - the girl has to be almost naked for christ sake!
