daria rules...most absolutely, most definitely

Models come and go. As it is well known, many models last for 2 years and after that they have expired. Well, maybe...

However, Daria is such an exception. I will never get bored or annoyed from looking at her. This girl is phenomenal and I am more than glad to see her doing more ediotirals, as witnessed above. My dear friend, Darialogist, has a link to the May issue of Paris Vogue, where she has not one, but two editorials. Will there be more? Please!

She looks incredible! But I thought she quit smoking.

She was everywhere two years ago. I haven't seen much of her lately. Maybe she's choosing her work more carefully. She used to be on every billboard ads, magazine covers, etc.

thanks for mentioning the darialogist! :-)

to kirsta: apart from the fact that this is an editorial so she's smoking here for professional reasons, she's in fact smoking again.

While she always looks fantastic in shoots, I'll always remember her in the short film she did for Prada. She was/is perfect.

She looks impecciable in just about every photo she takes. Her face is lovely, but she seems to hold the same deer in the headlights expression every time.

Is it me?

Hey! I went to Cawthra Park Secondary School, an art school in Mississauga Ontario Canada... Daria went to school with me!

I tell ya, seeing her in the halls, I just remember a really tall girl. Tall, VERY tall. You wouldn't have thought she was a model though; she was always wearing sweatpants and racing through the halls to get to class. A few years later, pfft... cover of every magazine. It's so strange! But oh so cool :)
